I have several IMAP accounts in my Outlook 2003. When I navigate to a given IMAP account Inbox and click New email, I want the email to be addressed from that mailbox, but not from the default account. This utility has been created to solve this problem. Using RightAccount utility, you can be sure that the proper account will be selected automatically when you create a new message from the non-default mailbox.
Limitations
RightAccount utility can work only with Outlook 2003.
If you are using Word as e-mail editor on your Outlook, you should install Redemption library from http://www.dimastr.com/redemption
Installation
Exit Outlook in case it is running. Then download RightAccount.zip archive file. After downloading unpack RightAccount.zip and execute
RightAccount.msi. Start Outlook and click Tools -> Options -> Other -> Advanced Options -> COM add-ins. Make sure that RightAccount is in the list and it is checked.
Testing
Start Outlook and navigate ti any non-default IMAP mailbox Inbox folder. click New email. Make sure that new message is marked with "This message will be sent via YOURACCOUNTNAME".
